Ways to Find Peace

Meditation allows the body to explore and experience different levels of relaxation and peace.
 
Meditation works in many different ways and many people are now discovering the importance and also seeing the benefits that comes with simply taking time out the day to meditate. Having the opportunity to turn down the world that surround us can sometime be very over powering and it sometimes can distract people’s daily tasks or simply embracing other presents. There comes a time when setting the phone down and taking the time to invest energy to improve someone's mental health can always bring positivity in the long run. Many people struggle when it comes to sitting without movement or sound. But how can someone expect peace in their life if they have never experienced peace. There are so many challenges young adult face especially being a part of such tech driving era. Society makes up so many different ways to communicate with those all around the world but people still struggle with the fact of simply speaking to someone that they may see every day. The power of taking time out of the day to reflect or just to be in deep thought can push those endorphins cells to the brain and produce happy hormones. This can truly make difference when it comes to needing a positive out look to the world. There are many different ways to practice mediation and here are some explains, creating your own space, meaning to find a place where there is minimum distraction. The next step is to set a timer and turn your phone to Do Not Disturb. Clear the space and air around and allow yourself to experience a period where no one or thing can disturb this time. For those who individual that have tight schedule, sit steel and close your eye and open up fresh thoughts. And do not forget to take deep breathes with a ten second inhale and exhale. Allow the mind, body, and soul to come a line with one fluid motion. Think about something that reminds the body of a peaceful moment or time and start to think about the different smells that cross your body path during that specific moment. Embrace the greenery of the world and understand that this practice will not make difference unless it practiced frequently. But for those that may have more time on their hands. But for those that may have more time on their hands; go on YouTube and search up beginner’s yoga and just watch the way the bodies move on the screen and imagine your own body being in those positions. There are two different things that can happen next. Option A, find a yoga class or studio and sign up for classes and allow the change to take over your life. Option B, find a space where the body can be stretched out and pull up some videos on your phone and practice. Understand just because someone is not physically there does not mean the body cannot experience change. Therefore make the change and see the difference in the long run.

  1. Dope story! I definitively agree with the meditation method. I love how you gave tips on how to practice mediation. I think its very essential to our youth and young adults for us to meditate because it allows us to separate ourselves from the world and focus on our mental health. Great Blog!
