Meditation allows the body to explore and experience different levels of relaxation and peace.
Meditation works in many different ways and many people are
now discovering the importance and also seeing the benefits that comes with
simply taking time out the day to meditate. Having the opportunity to turn down
the world that surround us can sometime be very over powering and it sometimes
can distract people’s daily tasks or simply embracing other presents. There
comes a time when setting the phone down and taking the time to invest energy
to improve someone's mental health can always bring positivity in the long run.
Many people struggle when it comes to sitting without movement or sound. But
how can someone expect peace in their life if they have never experienced
peace. There are so many challenges young adult face especially being a part of
such tech driving era. Society makes up so many different ways to communicate
with those all around the world but people still struggle with the fact of
simply speaking to someone that they may see every day. The power of taking
time out of the day to reflect or just to be in deep thought can push those
endorphins cells to the brain and produce happy hormones. This can truly make
difference when it comes to needing a positive out look to the world. There are
many different ways to practice mediation and here are some explains, creating
your own space, meaning to find a place where there is minimum distraction. The
next step is to set a timer and turn your phone to Do Not Disturb. Clear the
space and air around and allow yourself to experience a period where no one or
thing can disturb this time. For those who individual that have tight schedule,
sit steel and close your eye and open up fresh thoughts. And do not
forget to take deep breathes with a ten second inhale and exhale. Allow the
mind, body, and soul to come a line with one fluid motion. Think about something
that reminds the body of a peaceful moment or time and start to think about the
different smells that cross your body path during that specific moment. Embrace
the greenery of the world and understand that this practice will not make
difference unless it practiced frequently. But for those that may have more
time on their hands. But for those that may have more time on their hands; go
on YouTube and search up beginner’s yoga and just watch the way the bodies move
on the screen and imagine your own body being in those positions. There are two
different things that can happen next. Option A, find a yoga class or studio
and sign up for classes and allow the change to take over your life. Option B,
find a space where the body can be stretched out and pull up some videos on
your phone and practice. Understand just because someone is not physically there
does not mean the body cannot experience change. Therefore make the change and
see the difference in the long run.
Dope story! I definitively agree with the meditation method. I love how you gave tips on how to practice mediation. I think its very essential to our youth and young adults for us to meditate because it allows us to separate ourselves from the world and focus on our mental health. Great Blog!
