Tyler the Creator has opened the doors that allows Black artists to be independent when creating their own genre of music.

As a 28-year-old musician finally winning his first Grammy with the album "IGOR" has many viewers in support of his acceptance speech. During his wild but entertaining performance had such a beautiful concept the normalize the importance of being different. Also being Black many artist are placed in a specific genre as in Rap, Hip Hop, and Pop. Tyler the creator has also broken different trends when it came to Fashion. He has the ability to create such colorful and prideful piece that all colors of people wear. The ability to have such a diverse mentality when it comes to being an influencer has so many benefits. Tyler mentions his gratefulness and also shinning the light to the issues that many Black Artist face. He says "Do anything that's Genderbending or that’s anything they always put it in a rap or urban category. I don't like the word Urban-- It’s just a politically correct way to say the n-word to me." Many viewers were truly amazed many Black artist shinning the light upon unfair treatment when it comes to awards for music in many different genres. Black artist has some many different struggles when having the ability to create music and content when thinking outside the box. The power of speaking out to an audience that is worldwide helps those that are not aware of the unfair treatment even with celebrates. But this also brings awareness to the Black community and to upcoming future artist to not fear when coloring outside the boxes. Tyler the Creator audience has grown expeditiously after his flashy and colorful performance. He has such an interesting way when it comes to expressing himself within his music and his speech. Tyler the Creator is a non-specific genre artist. His Grammy performance included Boy II Men and Charlie Williams and he combined and creating such an entertaining showcase of his creativity and it was considered to be an “eye opener the Black community.” He was not the only artist that brought awareness and shine light to the many different issues when it came to placing artist in specific category. Also taking the rights away from those artists that may not be consider an “Rap, Hip Hop, and Pop artist.” Moments like this help define a future for those to not feel abjugated to fulfil the common sounds but to understand that anything can be created and anything can make a difference.
